I'm a Brooklyn native that grew up in the Midwood section, spent a year
living in Manhattan, then moved to Park Slope in 1977, and have been
there ever since. My love of Coney Island is deep rooted. My father
grew up in a bungalow where Trump Village now stands. I have always
found stories about Coney Island Before World War II fascinating. As a family, spending
Sunday afternoon double parked in front of Nathan's was not unusual.
Being the daughter of a printer, I was provided with an endless
supply of paper. I can't remember a time when I was never drawing or
painting. After attending Midwood High School, I enrolled in to The
